Safety Tips
- Any transmission fitted with a trans-brake must run a SFI safety blanket or shield. (Does not apply to power glides using aftermarket housing)
- Any 3 speed transmission with cast steel drums should never be shifted into neutral at high speeds. This can cause internal components to rotate two and a half times faster then your finish line RPM, which means that your transmission could explode possibly by causing injury or death. (Any transmission fitted with billet High gear drum can SAFELY be shifted into neutral at high speeds without causing any damage)
- All vehicles used for drag racing fitted with an automatic transmission should run a hose from there transmission breather to an overflow bottle, this will prevent oil getting under the tires if your transmission has a problem.
